Amos spoke about a coming spiritual famine — not a lack of food or water, but a lack of hearing God's word. This reminds us that life becomes empty when we drift away from God's presence and truth. Many search for answers everywhere except in God.
God desires that we stay hungry for Him daily through prayer, His word, and obedience. A heart that seeks God will never remain spiritually dry.

Lord, give me a deeper hunger for Your word and help me hear Your voice clearly every day. Amen.
